Lifting and stacking of steel decks

(1) The steel deck stacking area should be basically flat, the stacking of the steel deck should not be too high, and each stack should not exceed 40 sheets. Slings can be used for vertical transport of steel decks.

(2) When the steel deck is transported to the site, it needs to be properly protected without any damage and pollution, especially oil pollution. When the steel deck is temporarily stacked on the steel beam, it should be dispersed to avoid concentrated load.

(3) Before hoisting, check whether the steel deck bundle number and hoisting position are accurate, and whether the packaging is stable.

(4) Trial lifting should be carried out before lifting to check whether the center of gravity is stable and whether the wire rope will slide.

(5) The steel deck is hoisted with a special sling to prevent slipping. When lifting, each bundle should have two slings, tied at about a quarter of both ends.

(6) According to the principle of lifting materials sequentially from bottom to upper floors, to avoid hindering the lifting operation of the next floor due to the first lifting of the upper material.
