Laying of steel decks

(1) The laying of the steel deck shall be constructed layer by layer from bottom to top.

(2) It is necessary to confirm that the steel structure has been calibrated, welded and inspected before construction.

(3) It is necessary to confirm that the required various reinforcing components are installed before construction (except for pour stop reinforcement)

(4) When laying, take the steel deck mother ribs as the reference starting edge, and lay them in sequence.

(5) When laying, each piece of steel deck shall be positioned according to the actual width, and shall be operated in the way of positioning while laying the piece as a unit.

(6) When laying the steel deck, attention should be paid to the alignment of the grooves for the longitudinal and transverse steel decks, so as to facilitate the binding of steel bars. It is necessary to ensure that the plane is straight, and after laying, no concave phenomenon is allowed. As shown  below:

(7) The cutting of the steel deck required at the corners such as beam-column joints should be completed with a plasma cutting machine, and cut according to the actual shape of the site. The steel deck arranged in other parts shall not be used, and the cutting surface shall be smooth. Flame cutting is not allowed when cutting to avoid burning the galvanized layer.

(8) When laying steel decks on the same floor plane, follow the principle of first inside and then outside; for unit structure layers with multiple floors, the method of pre-laying steel decks is adopted, that is, the top layer is laid first, and then the lower layer is laid. Ensure the safety of the installation and construction of the lower floor.
