How do SOLIDECK pack

1. Shipping form

There are two options, cabinet and bulk. For the SD53-600 steel deck,it is obviously not cost-effective to install the cabinet. According to SOLIDECK's experience, a 40-foot high cabinet has a loading capacity of about 1100-1300 square meters. This is based on the fact that the size of the steel deck is relatively consistent. Below, it is estimated that there are at least 20 cabinets for the quantity of 25,000 square meters, and there is no doubt that bulk can often hold more.

2. Protection against product corrosion

Regarding the problem of product corrosion in marine transportation, SOLIDECK believes that the corrosion of the floor deck is not much different between containerized and bulk products. It is nothing more than that the containerized products are blocked by the steel plate of the container, and the products are directly exposed to the air. The moisture of seawater has a certain degree of corrosion on the product, which is formed after a long period of time. If it is said that it is less than two months or less time for sea navigation, the impact is minimal, it is all air (moisture) on the product. In order to prevent the leaching of rainwater during transportation, covering the bulk products with sheet cloth can solve this problem.

3. Collision and scratches on the product

 Another advantage of container packaging is that it is not easy to be collided or scratched by hard objects, thereby destroying the zinc layer, while bulk packaging is faced with the collision and scratching of other goods. It is also wrapped with soft cloth or kraft paper to reduce bumps under certain circumstances.

4. Secondary transportation and dragging of products

The cabinet is definitely protected in a container, but it also faces the problem of secondary transportation and hauling, which requires a trailer to handle. There is also a risk of rubbing the product out of the cabinet. In bulk, due to the protective frame, it is rarely damaged even when being towed, and it can be lifted directly by a crane, which is more convenient for secondary transportation and loading and unloading.

5. The specific method of bulk packing

a. After the steel deck is formed, stack it, and pack it with packing tape or steel tape. The weight of each bundle is not more than 3t, and the quantity is not more than 30 pieces. Wooden or foam board spacers are required for bundling;

b. Mark each bundle of products, such as customer name, quantity, plate type, thickness, length, application position, etc., at least 2 marks are guaranteed for each bundle;

c. Use channel steel to make a consignment rack, put the bundled steel deck into the consignment rack, and seal the upper part with channel steel to form a whole;

d. The upper part is covered with thatch cloth to prevent rain, and the logo is made on the outside, and the logo is also made into rain-proof treatment.

6. The choice of packaging
