1. Common thickness of steel deck

The steel deck is made of cold-rolled steel plate (steel coil), and the common specifications for the thickness of the steel plate are 0.76mm(Gage22), 0.91mm(Gage20), 1.06mm(Gage19), 1.2mm(Gage18), 1.52mm(Gage16). When the thickness of the steel plate is greater than 1.2mm, it is more difficult to form, and the main reason is that the studs cannot penetrate the steel deck and the steel beam reliably.Therefore, the maximum thickness of the steel deck should not be greater than 1.52mm. When used as a composite floor, the thickness of the steel plate is greater than or equal to 0.75mm. .
