1. The plate type of the floor deck

 Floor decks are mainly divided into open trough profile,re-entrough-trough profile，flat profile.

The open trough profiles is the most economical, and the flat profile is the most cost-effective. In addition, no matter what type of floor deck it is, the higher the utilization rate, the cheaper the cost. Utilization is equal to effective width/raw material feed width, but there are several special plate types:SD75-690, SD75-880, SD51-915, SD65-555, SD66-720,  the raw material feed width of these plate types is not the commonly used width of 1000mm or 1250mm in the market. , can only be processed after slitting.

But from the aesthetic point of view, the flat profile is the most perfect. After the construction is completed, the bottom of the plate is flat, the web is fitted, and the gap is about 3-5mm. The tongue-and-groove ceiling (like an aluminum gusset) can also be smeared with putty and then painted with water-based paint to make a flat ceiling, and it can also be directly attached to the wall cloth or wallpaper to decorate a colored ceiling; Expansion screws are used to fix it, and two pieces of special pendants can be directly hung on the 3-5mm web joint, and it can be directly fixed.

The re-entrough-trough profile are the next, but they are used more overseas, such as the projects we have done: Bangladesh Dhaka University, Macau Airport Boarding. The above are the advantages of various plate types. Depending on the owner or engineering requirements, the choice of plate type will be considered from an aesthetic point of view or an economic point of view.

2, depends on the thickness of the floor slab

Choose whether to use rib height 3" series or rib height 2" series, as well as profiled steel plate with rib height less than 2" and closed plate with rib height

”series. Generally speaking, the lower the rib height, the lower the bearing capacity. , and then the larger the rib spacing, the smaller the bearing capacity. If the thickness of the entire floor is within 100mm, it is best to choose a profiled steel plate with a rib height of less than 2"; the thickness of the entire floor is within 100-130mm, and the rib height is 2". The series is better; it is better to use a rib height of 3" above 130mm.

 3. Thickness of profiled steel plate and spacing between secondary beams

The most commonly used thicknesses of profiled steel plates are 0.75mm, 0.9mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, the thinnest can be 0.75mm, and the thickest can be 1.5mm. So how to choose the thickness of the profiled steel plate during construction? That is to say, what are the main factors determining the thickness of the profiled steel plate?

The determining factors for choosing the thickness of the profiled steel plate are mainly the thickness of the floor slab and the span between the steel beams supporting the profiled steel plate. Generally, the maximum span is not more than 3000mm. Many steel frame beams have a span of 5000mm to 6000mm or even larger. At this time, it is necessary to add secondary beams. Angle steel, channel steel, H-beam or support under the profiled steel plate can be used. It is said that the span of the beam should be within 3000mm as much as possible. However, the selection of the thickness of the profiled steel plate is a very technical calculation process, which is generally calculated based on the section modulus of the profiled steel plate and the moment of inertia of the section.

4. Rib height, rib distance and type of profiled steel plate

Generally speaking, the lower the rib height, the lower the bearing capacity, and then the larger the rib spacing, the smaller the bearing capacity. Taking the open profiled steel plate as an example, the main wave heights of the open profiled steel plate are "1.5", 2", 3" mm. If the thickness of the floor slab is within 100mm, it is best to use 1.5"- -SD38 type or”- -SD35 , SD51-915 type or SD51-750; if the thickness of the entire floor slab is more than 130mm, it is best to use 3" rib profiled steel plate, commonly used There are SD76-915 type or SD75-600, etc. Which wave height floor deck to choose depends on the thickness of the entire floor slab and depends on the height of concrete pouring

 We first choose the plate height of the profiled steel plate, which is the number after SD. For example, the SD66-720 floor deck of SOLIDECK, where the number 66 is the rib height of the profiled steel plate. Generally, the rib height of the profiled steel plate is selected according to the thickness of the floor slab. Normally, the thickness of the floor slab is selected to be close to -50mm, which can be used as the rib height of the profiled steel plate model. For example, if the thickness of your floor is 100mm, then your profiled steel plate model with rib height of 100-50=50mm, you can choose a profiled steel plate with a rib height of about 50mm that is commonly used and has good bearing capacity, such as SOLIDECK product SD51-915, This plate type has high utilization rate and good bearing capacity. Of course we prefer this model.

5. Yield strength, galvanizing amount and load

   There are generally three types of yield strength: SS255 (S250GD+Z), SS340 (S350GD+Z), SS550 (S550GD+Z). The difference between yield strength and galvanizing amount is also one of the factors that affect our choice. If the amount of galvanizing is high, the price of the sheet will also increase, which is also the main factor for the keh examination rate of many industries. If the load requirements are high, the thickness of the selection board will increase, and the cost will also increase.

6. Fire resistance

It is mainly coated with fireproof paint (open trough profile). Steel structure fireproof paint is applied to the steel structure surface of buildings and structures, which can form a fire-resistant and heat-insulating protective layer. The shrink plate and the closed plate can achieve a certain fire resistance aging due to the factor of the plate type, and the closed plate also has a fire resistance report approved by China.
